Details are starting to emerge about next week's services, viewings and tributes to the Queen of Soul.

The funeral arrangements have been announced for Detroit native Aretha Franklin, which will include a public three-day-long viewing, a musical tribute and a private service.

PUBLIC VIEWING

She will lie in repose on Tuesday, August 28th and Wednesday, August 29th at the Wright Museum of African American History on Warren Ave. in Detroit for public viewing from 9 AM - 9 PM. EXPECT LONG LINES.

On Thursday, August 30th, a public viewing will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church at 8430 Linwood in Detroit from noon until 4 PM. However, this will be a limited viewing and is mainly intended for members of the congregation.

PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICE

Ms. Franklin's funeral service will be held at Greater Grace Temple at 23500 W. Seven Mile Road at 10 AM. It is limited to friends, family and selected guests, but public seating MAY become available.

INTERNMENT 

She will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery at 19975 Woodward Ave. alongside family members who preceded her in death.

MUSICAL TRIBUTE
