Delilah’s Son Has Died, After Losing Battle With Depression

Delilah, whose nightly request and dedication show is heard weeknights on Cars 108, has lost her son, Zachariah. Zach took his own life early Tuesday morning (10/3) after a battle with depression.

Delilah broke the news to listeners and fans on her Facebook page earlier today.

The self-proclaimed Queen of Sappy Love Songs is the mother of 13 children, 10 of whom are adopted. She lost her adopted son Sammy in 2012 when he died of complications stemming from sickle-cell anemia.

Delilah has asked for prayers as her family grieves her son's loss, and vows to pray for those who are battling depression. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family during this tremendously difficult time.
