Davison, Frankenmuth, and New Lothrop are all heading to Ford Field this weekend with hopes of bringing home a state championship trophy.

This has been the weirdest football season that any of the players and coaches have ever been through. That makes the accomplishment of making it all the way to the state championships even more rewarding. After starting the season late, and being forced to stop during the playoffs due to the pandemic, the end of the season is finally here. All three teams from our area will be playing at Ford Field on Saturday.

Saturday will feature all three teams playing for their division state championships back to back to back. The day kicks off at Ford Field with New Lothrop taking on Traverse City St Francis at 10am.

New Lothrop is undefeated and is no stranger to playing in the state championship game. You can watch the live stream of the New Lothrop game here starting at 10am Saturday.

Davison will take the field at 1pm against West Bloomfield Saturday at 1pm.

Davison has had a wild ride of a season, and you can hear from head coach Jacob Weingartz here talking about the season.

The undefeated Cardinals are taking on West Bloomfield at 1pm, and you can stream the game live here. Davison is going for back to back state championships this weekend.

Frankenmuth will take the field against Grand Rapids Catholic Central Saturday at 4:30pm.

The Eagles are undefeated, but GRCC will be their toughest opponent of the season.
