Davenport Graduate Shows Us Why Graduation and Gymnastics Should Be Seperate Events [Video]

There isn't much Robert can't do now that he has a college degree...except maybe a back flip.

Graduation ceremonies have a tendency to be tedious and time consuming, but I'm fairly sure that the thud of this graduate's face plant on stage perked things up a bit.

Robert Jeffrey Blank joined his fellow classmates and hundreds of friends and family members in the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Sunday to receive his diploma from Davenport University. Just after the big moment he attempted...and failed an on stage back flip.

Robert wasn't hurt physically, despite the loud thud of his face hitting the stage. He might require some therapy to overcome acute embarrassment, however. The video of this Davenport graduate's not so smooth gymnastics move has gone viral.
