As parents of a child on the spectrum who is OBSESSED with Minecraft, we were so excited to hear about this.

Stuart Duncan says he wants it to be the "happiest place on earth."

He quit his day job to run the site, where he makes less money (but runs it mainly off donations). He says that this is a "world" where many kids on the spectrum make their first friends, and he wants it to be a safe space for them. They can interact with each other without feeling "lost," and without the fear of being bullied.

Duncan knew that his firstborn son was autistic from the moment that the sat up, he told PC Gamer. He also said that Minecraft became an obsession for his son, and he wanted to do something more with it.
