Curfew Considered For Next Year’s ‘Back To The Bricks’
Police officials say that they may add a special curfew for minors at next year's "Back to the Bricks" event. A fight in downtown Flint on Friday night that resulted in 22 arrests is the catalyst for the possible changes. Two different fights were reported. One was outside the McCree courts building, and there was also a smaller fight near Halo Burger that led to two additional arrests.Police claim that the fights were instigated by a large group of teens that appeared suddenly in large numbers. police said that multiple fights erupted and were contained by police. Organizers of the event shut down Thursday's cruise early because of a fight Wednesday night in Burton. Police estimate that upwards of 400,000 people took part in this years "Back to the Bricks".
