Who knew a PGA golf tournament could be so romantic? For one local Grand Blanc couple, the Ally Challenge presented by McLaren will always hold a special place in their hearts as the start of their forever.

As thousands of fans made their way onto the practice area of Grand Blanc's Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club, Linnzi Jordan Miller was about to experience a life-changing moment. Surrounded by a sea of Kane Brown fans gearing up for the big Community Concert Miller's boyfriend Jim Skinner decided to make it a night his girlfriend of 8 years would never forget.

As the couple was about to enter the VIP area with friends, Skinner dropped to one knee and asked Miller to be his bride.

"I had no idea all day. I just thought we were going over to talk to someone about upgrading to VIP. Lol So it was spontaneous", Miller told us."He said he had the ring for awhile and wasn’t sure when he was going to do it.  Jim thought to would be perfect because we were surrounded by family and friends."

Brother-in-law Judge Chris Christenson, who captured the moment in pictures,  told us that everyone knew it was going to happen except the new bride-to-be.

"We all knew! We thought maybe he was going to be able to get on stage to do it, but when that wasn't going to happen he just did it."

Miller told us the whole thing was absolutely perfect.

"I love concerts so much so that was extra special to me. Kane Brown was the bonus!!"

The ring was designed for the couple by Grand Blanc jeweler Paris the Jeweler and is a stunner. After 8 years of dating, we just had to ask Miller what her immediate response was with Skinner popped the question. Miller laughed and commented, "I said it’s about time!".

The couple is looking to tie the knot in about a year. Congratulations Linnzi and Jim!
