Clio Students, Teachers Mourn Deaths of Two Coaches [VIDEO]
Tim "Hibb" Hibbard and Lyndsey Piesko, both coaches at Clio High School, passed away unexpectedly this week.
Tim Hibbard was the coach for the JV boys basketball team, and the assistant coach for the varsity's football team. He had been using his snowblower in his driveway during Tuesday's storm when his wife found him unresponsive. He was 54-years-old.
A memorial will take place in the Clio High School auditorium this Sunday at 6 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at 11 AM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Instead of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Coach Hibb Memorial Fund page.
Lyndsey Piesko was the assistant volleyball coach, and passed away last Friday after having trouble breathing. She was 29-years-old. Her funeral will be this morning at 11 AM at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church. The family is asking for donations to Frankenmuth Foundation / Lyndsey Piesko Scholarship Fund, Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, and Pet Angel Adoption & Rescue.
Counseling services are being provided for students at this time.
