Congratulations, Jenna Schroeder!

If you haven't heard of her already, allow me to introduce you to another female trailblazer. Jenna went to Clio High School, where she played basketball and was a two-time All-State selection. She started playing at Oakland University and then went on to be team captain at Saginaw Valley State University.

During college, she did some referee work and then went on to ref for the WNBA and the G league. And now, she's officially the 6th woman to be hired as a full-time referee for the NBA.

And, just before she received the promotion, she happened to be calling a game between the Dertroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers. She said she was "shocked" at the timing.

Congrats, Jenna! You make Genesee County and women everywhere SO PROUD!
