They came, they saw, and they crafted. Girls Night Out with Lisa Marie at Board & Brush in Grand Blanc was a blast!

Seven listeners joined me to share some laughs, relax, and create some really cool wood project at the new DIY art studio in downtown Grand Blanc. It's amazing how crafty you can be with some instruction, a great group of ladies, and a little wine.

Billed as a "creative place for creating fun and unique wood decor projects from scratch while enjoying a fun instructor led atmosphere", Board & Brush in Grand Blanc opened their doors in November. Owner Liz Degain was excited to bring something new to town.

"I just wanted to create a happy place to entertain, inspire and educate people in amazing DIY projects. There’s not much to do in GB and I have the ability to socially distance while creating an escape for people."

I have to admit, I am not a very talented person when it comes to crafts, but I walked away feeling pretty accomplished. We each had a chance to pre-select our projects prior to the night. With the guidance of Liz, we all did amazing and our final products rocked!
