Check Out Flint Institute of Arts' Expansion

Glass blows. Yes, seriously. You need to check this out - and it's FREE this weekend!

In case you didn't know, the Flint Institute of Arts has been adding a new wing since summer of 2016...and it's finally ready to be open to the public.

We got a sneak peek yesterday at the Art School Hot Shop and the Contemporary Craft Wing, and they're AMAZING.

The ribbon cutting is tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:30 AM at FIA. And the best part? Admission is FREE all this weekend!

Before you ask, yes - they will be offering classes where you can learn how to blow glass yourself. And they'll be doing demonstrations every hour, too. It's amazing to watch - you'll appreciate the exhibit even more, once you know how they do it!
