Case of Viral Meningitis Reported in Kearsley School District
The district deep-cleaned the school last night as a preventative measure.
The Kearsley School District has sent a letter home to parents, warning them of a confirmed case of viral meningitis at Fiedler Elementary.
The student who tested positive for the illness has not been in schooll since Monday. The Genesee County Health Department has been notified.
The viral form is less serious than the bacterial form. Kearsley schools can now be added to a list of local schools that have had confirmed cases so far this year.

Keep an eye on your kids' health and YOUR health as well - urgent care sent me STRAIGHT to the ER last week when I came in with a headache, fever, stiff neck and nausea. Meningitis is no joke.
