Bus Driver Builds Ramp for Disabled Student – The Good News [VIDEO]
This is truly the definition of "random act of kindness."
Thomas Mitchell, a mechanic from Clarksville, Tennessee, is also substitute bus driver for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. That's how he met Verna DeSpain, a single mother of two, and her daughter Lydia, who is in a wheelchair.
Thomas saw Lydia struggling to carry her daughter's chair down the stairs every morning. So, he gave her a call, and offered to build a ramp - for free. He even got a local Lowe's to donate all of the supplies. After a few months of planning, Thomas showed up with four friends on a Sunday and had the ramp done in a few hours.
I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING!!! *sniffle*
