BTS Just Announced Their First U.S. Stadium Concert and It’s History-Making
BTS hits it out of the park again—this time, at Citi Field in Queens.
The superstar South Korean music group announced their first-ever U.S. headlining stadium concert to take place at Citi Field in New York on October 6.
Keeping up with RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook's ongoing trend of making history at every possible turn, promoters say that the show will be the biggest concert for a Korean act in the U.S. ever—the venue holds a reported 40,000 attendees—and is the first stadium show for any Korean group.
The show will be a part of the group's Love Yourself American tour, which will kick off with four shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on September 5. Other tour stops include Forth Worth, Texas and Chicago, Illinois.
Tickets for the final October 6 tour date will go on sale at 4 p.m. on August 17 through Citi Field, pricing TBA.
Other artists who launched stadium tours in the U.S. this year include Taylor Swift, Jay-Z and Beyonce, so BTS will be in great company.
Love Yourself: Answer is out August 24.
