On this first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month watch as one brave woman shares a year's worth of treatment in this inspiring time lapse video.

29 year-old Emily Helck has always believed that the unknown is always worse than the reality, so after her diagnosis of Breast Cancer and a double mastectomy she decided to document her treatment by taking a picture of herself every week. Emily says "My hope is that by showing what it looks like to go through treatment, I can shine a light on a little bit of that unknown."

Emily's brave video, "One Year/One Minute" is below.

Emily has finished her treatment and her health is good, although she is "still dealing with the reconstruction."
