Been Bullied? Know Someone Who Has Been? Watch This! [VIDEO]

I'll start by saying, "Hi, I'm Jeremy... and I am a nerd!"  I love Star Trek, Star Wars, Atari, Doctor Who, Inspector Gadget, and for some reason... School Buses!

It's not easy when you're made fun of as a kid. From a guy who was on the receiving end of this over and over, I can vouch for that statement. From kindergarten to my senior year, I've been called everything you can think of... and then some. Actually, if you include my co-workers, George, Maggie, Chris, Ricky, and even J. Patrick, you could say it never stopped!  (But seriously, I love my co-workers)

But through the years (by my early 20s), I finally learned how to blow most of it off, and how to throw some of it back.  I noticed that, in most cases, those that were made fun of are doing much better than those that made fun of them.  As much as I hate to say this, a perfect example is Wil Wheaton.  Before we go on, it's important to know that I love irony.

I was like most "Star Trek: TNG" fans who hated Wesley Crusher more than any other Star Fleet officer.  You can see it in this subtle, yet awesome slam at the young ensign. Like many of us Trekkies in training, or "Nerds" as we were always called, we hated Wesley because we were totally jealous.  He was a kid, and yet he got to fly the U.S.S. Enterprise!  Wesley was played by Wil Wheaton, who I have really started to like, especially after his Family Guy appearance.

Well I could go on for hours about how to deal with bullies, but Wil knocked it out of the park in less than three minutes. I am actually watching an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" from its 7th season called "The Indecision Amalgamation" right now with Wheaton guest starring.  There's that word again... IRONY!!
