Beach Bans Selfies

A famous beach has banned one of travelers favorite things about going on vacation!

A beach in France has banned selfies. Garoupe is a beach located in southern France and they partnered with a mobile network to create an anti-holiday spam area, or "No Braggies Zone." Fox News says there are even signs posted in the designated areas and a patrol. A spokesperson for the beach said "the Garoupe beaches are among the most glamorous and pristine beaches in all of France and we want people to be able to enjoy our exclusive beach in the moment, not spending the majority of their time bragging to their friends and family back home." The beach apparently enacted the policy after a survey showed a third of travelers said bragging about their vacation was one of their favorite holiday activities.
