Bank Will Put $250 Into A Savings Account For Babies Born On NYE

It's a pure fact that 2020 has been quite the year for everyone. I doubt there's person out there that isn't counting the minutes until we ring in 2021.

Our friends at Ally Bank, the folks that bring the Ally Challenge golf tournament to town each year at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, have a little something special planned to celebrate the New Year.

For every baby born in the U.S. on New Year's Eve 2020, Ally Bank will place money into an online savings account, in order to start the New Year, and their new lives.

"There's no denying 2020 has been an extraordinarily difficult year," stated a press release from the online bank. "But with each new baby born, there's been reason for hope."

Ally Bank wants to give all these special babies a little head start to a bright future saying,  "Think of it as an opportunity to get a head start on your savings, so you can be better prepared to make your mark on the world in 2040 and beyond".

Ally Bank even penned a special letter to the special babies touching on the significance of the the world they are about to enter.
