Are You Ready For The First Freeze Of The Season?
Well, it's official. After a lack-luster summer and just 10 days into October, here we are under a Freeze Warning. The low temperature for tonight (Friday Night) is 32, and we expect 33 tomorrow night.
The National Weather Service has issued the warning, that runs from 3:00am overnight tonight until 9:00am tomorrow (Saturday), for most of Mid-Michigan. Temperatures will drop below freezing tonight which could damage unprotected outdoor plants and other tender vegetation.
In case you have forgotten, a Freeze Warning issued by the NWS means that sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Are you ready for below-freezing temperatures?
