This time duct-tape was involved.

A southeastern Michigan school district has placed a high school band teacher on paid leave. The teacher duct-taped a student’s ankles to a chair to help with the girl’s posture. Well sure the teacher was concerned about the students posture.

Where do we find these people? The teacher’s name is Brian Sullivan. Jefferson Schools Superintendent Craig Haugen said he received a complaint this week against the teacher for “reported corrective measures in the classroom".

Jefferson High School is in Monroe, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit. The teacher stresses to students that their feet must be flat on the floor and they must sit straight to properly play their instruments.

School band students are planning to leave April 9 for Florida and are planning to perform at Disney World. Several students are petitioning the school to allow the teacher to return for the band’s trip in early April to Florida.
