AJ's 31 Days of Horror Movies

This is a bit different than my other recommendations - it's a documentary, and it scared the hell out of me.

Luckily, Demon House is on YouTube in its entirety, so you don't have to look far for it.

I watched this on a flight from Detroit to Denver and I was literally too scared to get up and go to the bathroom on the plane. It follows the always over-the-top and sometimes cheesy host of Ghost Adventures, Zak Bagans, as he investigates the history of a notoriously haunted house in Gary, Indiana.

Gary is scary for its own reasons, but what makes this particular film so spooky is that it's just a regular house, much like your neighbor's house...or your house. And what happens to Zak by the end of the doc will affect him for the rest of his life, literally.

I loved this one so much, I watched it a second time with Pat. Enjoy!
