Social media is on fire because, as you've probably heard, Dunkaroos are coming back!

If you're a kid of the 90's you can appreciate the hype and excitement over the announcement. The snack fav from General Mills, that consists of graham cookies and frosting, is hitting the shelves in a epic return this summer.

Originally launched in 1992, the sweet treat was the best thing to pop up in a lunchbox, and easiest way to a quiet car ride for lots of parents. Kids just couldn't get enough of Dunkaroos right up until the company stopped production in 2012. “For those who grew up in the ‘90s, the original cookie-frosting combo represents the taste, color and fun of being a kid during that decade. We know there’s a lot of love for Dunkaroos, and fans everywhere have been asking for it. We’re excited to help ‘90s kids relive all the best parts of childhood,” said Jeff Caswell, president of Snacks at General Mills, said in his press release.

The company teased the reboot, with what else, Instagram and Twitter last month and now made it official. Looks like summer just got a whole lot sweeter for a whole new generation of Dunc lovers. Look for the return to feature the most requested flavor: Vanilla Cookies and Vanilla Frosting with Rainbow Sprinkles.
