9-Year-Old Girl Attacked by a Bison at Yellowstone Park [VIDEO]

Yellowstone is investigating the video to confirm its authenticity.

A video surfaced on Twitter of a young girl being gored and tossed into the air by a bison while she and her family visited Yellowstone National Park in California.

The girl was part of a group that was near Old Faithful Geyser area. They were about 20-feet-away from the bison when it charged at her, a man and a woman. The man and woman can be seen running; the girl was tossed into the air.

She was injured, treated at the Old Faithful clinic and released.

A male bull can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and can run up to 30 mph. Visitors are asked to stay at least 25 yards away.
