13-Year-Old Michigan Boy Suspected to be Kidnapped, Amber Alert Issued

A Michigan Amber Alert has been issued for a 13-year-old Detroit boy who is the victim of a suspected kidnapping.

Deontae Mitchell was last seen Tuesday (5/31), near Nino's Market in Detroit. The boy's cousin says he was grabbed by a black male in a black 2002 Chevy Impala and was being held against his will. Police tell WJBK that the man is 5' 6" tall, and weighs about 175 pounds.

The suspect is carrying a gun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
