If you thought that Tornado season hasn't started yet, you would be wrong. Horribly wrong. There is a possibility that this storm system's next stop is Michigan.
The weather is as unpredictable as Al Roker after his mishap. But last night in Genesee County, my first question was, "What the hell was that?"
The weather has been strange over the past few months, and it looks like it's about to get a whole lot stranger. Many rivers in Genesee County are finally getting back to normal after reaching flood stage or higher last week. Brace yourself for high winds, dangerous lightning and possible tornadoes on top of more flooding.
The sky looked wicked over Flint this morning around 5:00am as a severe storm barreled through Genesee County. Flint sustained a good soaking, but there were plenty of trees and wires down to go along with it.
There were many events going on throughout Mid-Michigan on Saturday, and many of them ended prematurely. Severe Storms rolled through the area prompting several severe weather warnings, and dropping as much as five inches of rain in some spots in a very short period of time.
