Leave it to an Englishman to make the 2012 Olympic torch run one of the cutest moments in the history of the games.

Claressa Shields is going to the 2012 London Olympic Games. The 17-year old Flint Northwestern junior got the news today after the fighter she lost to in the second round of qualifying beat her opponent. That loss was the first of Shields' career, but she will have a chance to bounce back and go for the gold in London.

The London Olympics start in just 100 days as athletes prepare for this huge event. Do you have any favorite sports that you like to watch? I will watch gymnastics and swimming for sure and probably tune in to a few others. I also try to watch parts of the opening ceremony. Will you watch?
