This is not how Madonna wanted to kick off the U.S. leg of her MDNA World Tour. The Material Girl was on the receiving end of boos and expletive-laden chants for showing up fashionably late last night in Philadelphia, but she later won back the crowd and apologized for her tardiness.

Madonna‘s recent gay rights speech in St. Petersburg, Russia has offended a group of Russian activists so much that they are now suing the pop star for millions.

Madonna is holding nothing back. At her concert in St. Petersburg on Thursday night (Aug. 9), the 53-year-old star took a moment to make an impassioned speech in support of gay rights.

Things have taken a turn for the worse for Madonna on the overseas leg of her MDNA tour. And just when we thought Madonna was turning over a new leaf with her controversial shows.

Madonna isn’t exactly known for being a big ol’ softie, but that doesn’t mean she’s heartless (unless you come bearing hydrangeas, of course). So at a concert in Amsterdam recently, she gave an assist to a girl proposing to her boyfriend — and even offered up a little marital advice to the happy couple.

Madge reportedly employs a sterilization team to come in and clean up her dressing rooms after concerts on her current tour, wiping away any traces or remnants of her DNA so that it won’t be stolen.
