The birth of Blue Ivy Carter to Beyonce Knowles and Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter may have delighted fans of the famous couple, but it’s not such a big hit with some of the other new parents at the Manhatten hospitial in which she was born.

January 4, 2012 It actually happened three times - in Buffalo, (pictured left) Minneapolis, and Tampa. One baby was born before midnight on December 31st, 2011; the other twin waited until after midnight, therefore getting a birthday on New Year's Day 2012!

December 20, 2011 I will admit that I'm not a huge cat fan, but this video caught my attention. It shows a really cute cat stroking a crying baby, who eventually falls asleep. You can tell the cat is really proud of his accomplishment. Check it out after the jump.
Puppies love to play with everything they can get their paws on, including babies. Three adorable pug puppies scramble onto the back of an equally adorable baby and hang on as the infant crawls about the floor. The dogs soon realize that babies don’t make the best vehicles.
