Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5k Fifth Running is Sunday

The 5th annual Brooksie Way Half Marathon and 5k will hit the roads and trails of Rochester on Sunday, September 30th at 8:00 a.m.  The races will start and finish on the campus of Oakland University near the Meadowbrook Music Festival theater.

The half marathon is both scenic and challenging.  Enjoy the Fall colors as you traverse some of the hills found in the area.  There will be plenty of support and music on the course, so you will be properly motivated and hydrated.

The races were designed to promote a physically active lifestyle among Oakland County residents as well as those all around Michigan.

Enjoy the pre-race expo on Friday and Saturday on the Oakland University Campus with plenty of vendors and health information and services.  Carbo load at the pasta party, then stick around after the race is run for a bigger and better post-race celebration.

If you're not ready to run the race, volunteers are needed and welcome!
