Whenever I want a tasty, healthy salad, all I have to do is head for my backyard salad bar. My wife and I planted several different types of lettuce and spinach in containers this year. This makes it a little easier to manage and keep track of what is growing.

Wholesale Petrol Prices Keep Falling, So Why Do Gas Prices Keep Rising?
A good friend of mine just returned from a trip to Alabama. On his journey, he found gas prices as low as $3.12 a gallon for unleaded. The highest price he paid? In Michigan, of course. Local gas prices took a 30 cent hike again today despite wholesale prices that continue to fall.
‘Sexting,’ It’s Not Just Kids Doing It.
This story sort of shocked me when I first read it. Sort of. A new survey conducted by Lookout, a mobile security company, found that 18% of American smartphone users "sext." Sexting is sending pictures, video or racy text over your phone...

National Running Day is Tomorrow. How Far Will You Go?
As most of you already know, I'm a runner. It wasn't always that way. I started in my late 30's to lose the jelly roll that was forming around my midsection. My first running adventures were not pretty. Old people, pregnant women pushing strollers, and toddlers would routinely leave me in their dust at local 5k runs.
