This weekend is shaping up to be an "artful" one with the 2nd Friday Artwalk downtown and the FIA's Flint Art Fair Saturday and Sunday. Artwalk happens Friday night from 6-9 at multiple venues in downtown Flint and is free.

The Flint Art Fair at the Flint Institute of Arts (FIA) in the Flint Cultural Center will take place on the FIA grounds Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday from 11-5. Art will be on display and for sale outdoors from local artisans. Enjoy music and an adult beverage in the entertainment area. Local musicians like the Blue Hawaiians, Sherm Mitchell, Rusty Wright and many others will entertain you with various musical styles.

Cost for the Flint Art Fair is $5 for adults, $3 for children 13-18 and Senior Citizens, and free for kids 12-under.

Don't forget that admission to see the exhibits inside the FIA are free on Target Free Saturday. Flint area residents have a great opportunity to enjoy a lot of great art and entertainment this weekend without spending a lot of money.
