October 4, 2012 Seniors at Linden High School have chosen Danny Leideker, a student with special needs, as their Homecoming King.
October 3, 2012 Rod first brought the story of the bullied Ogemaw Heights High School sophomore to our attention. Whitney Kropp was ecstatic to learn that she had been chosen to represent her sophomore class in the homecoming court, until she found out that it was the worst sort of bullying on the part of her classmates. Her story has gone viral, and her life hasn't been the same since.
September 26, 2012 It might be getting harder to keep the punishment from happening since all the national attention this story has recieved in the last couple of days.It's been nearly two weeks since some students at Ogemaw Heights High School in West Branch decided to pull a cruel prank on sophomore Whitney Kropp.
September 18, 2012 I feel so sorry for this young girl. It's a story that could be a bad TV movie. Classmates nominated Whitney Kropp to be on the homecoming court, but only as a cruel joke.
July 26, 2011 Updating a story published earlier, twelve Michigan Post Office branches will be on the chopping block, according to Click on Detroit.
Although no Flint-area branches are slated for closure at this time, the downtown Flint Post Office is on the list of 3,653 branches nationwide that are being studied. 62 in Michigan are being considered.

May 12, 2011 Several members of the Flint District Library Board of Trustees have proposed a budget which includes closing three branches, including Cody, North Flint and West Flint. They're also looking at other changes to reduce other library costs.
