Prepare for goosebumps (and possibly tears), as Patrick Roche counts down the years from age 21 back to birth in an epic poem titled '21'.

The young poet opens a window into life with an alcoholic father, as he performs at the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational (CUPSI) at Princeton University.

In a post on his Facebook page, Roche says he is grateful for the positive feedback and support he's gotten about '21', and says he hopes to continue performing after graduation.

"We hope you do too, Patrick," we say as the goosebumps begin to subside, and we push play again.
