Remember a few years ago when Target had that data breach and we all had to get new debit cards right before Christmas? Well, now Michigan is getting a payout.

It was announced that Michigan is one of 46 states getting a payout from the 2013 Target data breach. The 46 states involved negotiated an $18 million settlement with Target. Over 70 million customers had their credit and debit card data compromised in 2013.

Michigan is set to receive $400,000 of the settlement money, but there is no word yet on how that will be divided.
