He's 101-years-old, and finally got the graduation ceremony that he missed out on as a teen.

John Motes should've graduated high school in 1933, but he had to drop out of school as a sophomore because of a health condition.

He ended up serving in the Air Force in WWII. His grandchildren recently asked an Alabama high school if he could participate in their graduation ceremony, and the assistant principal says that the students were happy to do it.

Motes wants to apply to college this fall to study music. And he definitely proves that it is NEVER too late.
