There is nothing fun about being sick, especially when four out of five people in your household are down for the count. Those nasty infections that decided to ride the bus home with the kids and invite themselves in to our home. We've been hit with sinus infections, ear infections, and strep throat.

I've had strep in the past, but this last bout really kicked my ass-igned tasks and responsibilities to the curb. With tonsils so big I could barely breathe, let alone eat, I finally started to feel better last night.

When my wife and I were coming up with a dinner plan, the idea of grilled cheese and tomato soup came up. The thought alone warmed me up to the point where I was able to take off two layers of clothing (at this point I was down to five layers).

I'm not sure what it is about the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, but I can't think of a better meal when trying to recuperate.  Can you?
