This is an update from a story that we posted back in January. You can read it here: http://wcrz.com/parents-accused-of-neglect-for-allowing-kids-to-walk-home-alone-video/

Maryland parents Danielle and Sasha Meitiv have been found responsible for "unsubstantiated child neglect" after allowing their 6 and 10-year-old children to walk home alone. Police were called when somebody saw the children walking home from a playground about a mile from their home.

The decision was handed down on February 20th, and it means that CPS will keep a file on the family for the next five years. The parents say that they will appeal the decision. You can read more HERE.

For the record, I'm appalled by this. Completely disgusted. The definition of the word "unsubstantiated" is: not established as valid or genuine. Case in point. Unreal.
