University of Michigan Offers Scholarship to 7th Grade Quarterback [VIDEO]
Meet the 13-year old who will one day be a football superstar. Isaiah Marshall is a 7th grader at Southfield A&T and will very likely be playing football for the University of Michigan in a few short years.
Marshall is one of the youngest players ever to be offered a scholarship by Jim Harbaugh.
Isaiah's father Brian Marshall tells WJBK that Harbaugh watched footage of his son Tuesday.
"He ended up checking out some film of Isaiah," Marshall said. "He liked what he saw and he liked the things he was doing especially for his age and he gave me a call."
Brian Marshall, who is a former college football player for Northwestern, says he has reminded his son that there's a long way to before his senior year and a lot can change between now and then. He says he'll have plenty of help from family members to help keep Isaiah grounded.
