Michigan has some unique sports options available, that is for sure.

When you think about playing sports, most people just think of the most popular and televised sports. Football, basketball, baseball, and hockey are the big ones for most sports fans in Michigan. However, once you start to do a little digging, you can find way more.

If there is one thing you can count on in Michigan, it is our ability to create a league for pretty much every sport or activity you come across. Aside from the big four sports, you can find dart leagues, pool leagues, cornhole leagues, bowling leagues, and so many more. In this state, we love any sport or activity that we can get some competition out of.

The possibilities are really endless when you start searching for a new sport, activity, or club to join. Just the other day, I saw a Facebook post about a place trying to fill one of their indoor pickleball leagues and it got me thinking. While I have a general idea of how pickleball works, I didn't know there was a high demand for leagues, so I started to wonder what other unique or obscure such things I could find. Honestly, the list did not disappoint and I would be totally down to try some of there.

What weird leagues have you been on before that match this list? I'm not talking about kickball or dodgeball or things like that. I want to hear about the really out-there ones that you wouldn't think would have a league attached to it. Let me know in the comments.
