UM-Flint Will Open Free Downtown Ice Rink This Week
It's finally that time of the year, ladies and germs.
The University of Michigan-Flint is opening up the public ice rink downtown starting tomorrow, all the way through February. The rink will only close for inclement weather, poor ice conditions and for resurfacing.
Hours are 6-9 PM on Wednesdays, 5-8 PM on Fridays and 12-4 PM on weekends. Skate rental is $3 but patrons are encouraged to bring their own skates as the quantities are limited.
There are some dates for free skate: Saturday, December 7th, Saturday, December 28th, Sunday, January 19th and Wednesday, February 19th.
