Two Michigan Air Shows in the Running for Nation’s Favorite
It's great to see one of our incredible air shows ranked in the top ten in the nation, but when it's two, that's just way cool. Both shows are in the running to be named "Favorite Air Show in North America".
USA Today and 10 Best's Readers Choice are look for the "Favorite Air Show in North America", and have narrowed it down to the top 20 for voting. Two shows in Michigan have made the list, and for very good reasons.
Thunder Over Michigan Air Show
This show, held in Ypsilanti, is back bigger than ever this year. The 2021 show will feature performances by the USAF Thunderbirds and the USAF F-35 Demo Team. Plus, we're featuring the World’s Largest Gathering of Mitchell B-25 Bombers during all four shows. Thunder Over Michigan Air Show will happen August 7 & 8 at Willow Run Airport. Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show
The largest Fourth of July air show in the country, spans over five days and features a balloon festival as well. This years show is be held is June 30-July 4, 2021 at the Battle Creek Executive Airport. The show will feature the US Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team. and for the first time in Michigan the SubSonex Microjet, plus so much more. There will also be a night air show as well.
