Time Magazine Person Of The Year Is The Protester
Most people predicted Steve Jobs, Michelle Obama or even Gabrielle Giffords would be the choice for Time Magazine's Person of the Year. Instead, editors have chosen the protester as this year's winner.
Editors say the protester represents mass actions against dictators in the Middle East, marches against leaders in Greece and let's not forget about the Occupy movements across the United States. People think these individuals and groups are changing the world for the better. As a friend of mine pointed out, if you had a chance to protest this year, congratulations to you! Who would you have wanted to see win Person of the Year?
