Texts From Germany: We Taste Like What? [PHOTO]

It took me a second to get it. My son Nick, a student at U of M Flint, is studying in Germany right now. (He's so damn smart...) He sent me this picture after shopping for some dorm room "staples."

Look closely at the flavor printed on the bag. "Cool American."

Nick's caption on the text he sent me:  "Apparently we taste like Ranch."

Ah, the cultural differences.

I thought I'd miss his snarky personality while he's off on this two-month adventure. Turns out, that comes through loud and clear via text.
