I'm very happy that Colin Firth won best actor for 'The King's Speech.' I'm also glad the movie won for best picture and original screenplay. If you haven't had a chance to see the movie, I highly recommend it.

The countdown for the Oscars has begun. The big question of course is, what movie should win best picture? My pick is still 'The King's Speech' with Colin Firth. It's a great movie and Colin Firth is one of my favorites.

Oscar nominations were announced this morning.  "The King's Speech" received 12, including best picture.  Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush also received nominations for "The King's Speech."
