In the U.K., Santa got his beard stuck while rappelling down from the ceiling of a mall and dangled there helplessly for half an hour until someone freed him. Old Saint Nick may be hundreds of years old, but he really needs to work on making an entrance.
Bah, humbug! A Canadian Grinch ruined the annual holiday parade for dozens of children last Saturday. The intoxicated 24-year-old man, who hailed from Kingston, was arrested after police received a complaint. Parents informed authorities that this jerk ruined Christmas for their youngsters by walking up and down the parade lines and telling them that Santa Claus doesn't exist.
A sad sign of the times when kids realize how hard thing are right now. Santa and parents are both saying kids are being a bit more realistic this year with their wish lists.

Here's proof even Santa has a bad day now and then. Santa's arrival at the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach, Florida was delayed Saturday when his beard got caught in rappelling equipment. This looks like it made for a painfully slow decent from the mall's ceiling. I hope this sort of thing doesn't happen when he comes to my house this Christmas.
