Well, it’s not quite winter yet in Genesee County, which means we’re still getting those pop-up construction projects that can last an afternoon, a week or two, or seemingly forever

Heavy rain over the weekend caused widespread flooding and road closures across Genesee County. While most roads will reopen soon, a massive sinkhole in Mt. Morris Township will take much longer to fix.

Luckily when a train derailed late last week it was hauling corn. But the massive accident closed down a well-traveled Michigan roadway.

Mother nature is causing havoc on Mid-Michigan roadways today.
