Competition drives better prices even if that company requires a membership.

Yesterday, I filled my tank for $3.10 a gallon.  Miraculously, just in time for 4th of July holiday travel, nearly every station around Flint raised their prices to $3.55.

Seems as though every week or so we are having to dig a little deeper to fill our gas tanks. For the 4th time since the week before Christmas, the price of unleaded gasoline has spiked to a new high in Mid-Michigan. Most Flint-area stations are selling it for $3.69 a gallon now. Less than a month ago, we were able to buy gas for LESS than $3 a gallon. At this rate, it probably won't be long be
