One year after the death of his longtime friend Glenn Frey, Bob Seger has released a stirring new song to honor the fallen Eagle.

Bob Seger honored the Eagles and paid tribute to fellow Detroit native Glenn Fry last night at the 39th annual Kennedy Center Honors.

The cellphone video sucks, but the sentiment is genuine.

It all started when Glenn Frey took an unfinished Jackson Browne song and added lines like "It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowin' down to take a look at me".
