It looks like we may be in for a white Christmas after all! Last night we got a good coating of snow, and a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until midnight means even more snow. The roads were a bit challenging this morning with slick driving conditions and power outages. But the good news is, the world is still turning.
The talk of "Doomsday" and "The End of the World" is certainly on the rise as we approach December 21, 2012. I don't think the Earth will cease to exist, but I think it's possible that it could be the end of life as we know it. Whether or not the human race will be around following a doomsday event is a question that I'd rather not know the answer to.

check? Say, for Oct. 21? Harold Camping, the radio host who predicted Christians would be taken to heaven this past Saturday, leaving non believers behind to suffer through the end of the world, has picked a new date for the end of the world after a rapture-less weekend.
