It's been revealed that JCPenney at Courtland Center Mall is one of the top performing in the company...and that's a good thing.

Some people wonder if they have made a difference in their lives. Blood donors don't have that problem. Every time you donate blood, you can save as many as three lives. Your donation is needed and it is meaningful. Summertime is a time when donations typically drop off, so you help is needed now.

The American Red Cross is partnering with Courtland Center Mall in Burton and ABC 12 this holiday season to help save lives. "What better gift to give this holiday season than the gift of life," said Colleen O'Callaghan, Donor Recruitment Representative for the American Red Cross Great Lakes Blood Services Region.

When I was a kid, my sister was a Girl Scout and my mom was a Troop Leader.  This meant that our house and garage would literally be filled with thousands of boxes of delicious Girl Scout Cookies, and I couldn't eat them.  Talk about torture!
